Having a child with multiple food allergies is very difficult. Please join us on our journey where I hope to help anyone who is dealing with this difficult diagnosis. I started this because I could find recipes and advice/support groups online for nut free or egg free or gluten free but nothing that was for living with multiple allergies. Enjoy, Mary xoxoxox

Nothing gets me down!
We found out in April while eating peanut butter for the second or third time that he was severely allergic. How do you know? Well we knew right away because he was scratching and upset and had hives all around his cheeks and chin.
Immediately gave Benadryl & phoned the doctor....world kind of crashed down went through stages of Grief little did I know how much more complicated life was about to get!
We were now owners of the classic epi pen.....I'm a nurse this is so routine in my life but yet somehow when it hits your heart personally things are so different...I couldn't believe I had a child with allergies.
Then just as you accept it, adjust to life like this....more hives appear and vomiting.
Allergist: eggs! Really....okay I can handle this eggs no biggie right?! Wrong!....the hives and eczema continues.
Use your mommy instinct always I pushed to have more testing. I thought to myself I have cut the eggs and all nuts out so what is causing this?
Sure enough he reacted to wheat, soy and oats along with dust, mold, weeds too.
